Welcoming BBQ
As every year, EUROAVIA Sevilla organise an initial BBQ in order to make new partners feel confortable. It is the first chance for them to really get closer to their mates, at a non-academic field.
In the picture below you will see the great amount of members we were, most of them had just signed up in EUROAVIA.
We have already visited also the Airbus A-400M FAL and Moron's Military base during this first semester. This is the perfect place where our engineering students that are interested in Army can feel and touch this real world. Here you have a nice picture from Moron with one of the pilots showing us the controls of the EUROFIGHTER:

EMEAC
As you may know, last year we held one of the biggest EUROAVIA meetings: the Electoral Meeting of the EUROAVIA Congress. The organization was hard but the experience with all our international friends and members from other AS was definitely worth it.
Here you have some pictures from the event:
FAL A-400M
As every year we take advantage of our location and as you may know the fact that the A400 Final Assembly Line is settled down in Seville allows us to visit it and learn how we can be working and applying our studies in a few years:
LONG TRIP TO GRANADA
It is one the most satisfying event we organise each year. It’s the moment when our members get to really know each other because they spend many hours in a row together. Last year we spent two days in Granada, visiting the Air Base of Armilla, as well as the experimental flight center ATLAS in Jaen in our way back to Seville. However, not everything was strictly academic. We also took advantage of the journey and spent some time sightseing the city.
INTA
The “Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial” which means National Institute of Aerospace, has a base in Huelva which is the adjacent province to Seville, so it is near too. INTA is specialized in repairing, controlling and launching rockets and UAV's with scientific research mainly. It was a very interesting visit for those who want to study abount avionics system.

About the city:
Seville´s metropolitan area is considered very successful due to its business and industrial developments. Being the political and the administrative capital of Andalusia, it houses the most important public and private centers. The city is easily accessible and well connected.
Seville is a medium built-up, urban area in a European context and full of life. Its metropolitan environment is home to 1.150.000 people, of which 704.000 inhabitants actually are from Seville originally.
Because of Seville´s privileged location, this city is provided with one of Spain´s airports with the most international connections.
From an industrial point of view, other important projects up and running apart from the ¨Aerópolis¨ are; the new ¨Tecnópolis Sevilla-Alcalá¨, the new Heineken factory, the extension of the Renault-Nissan factory, the technological center of ¨Palmas Altas del Grupo Abengoa¨, and the new ground plan of the EADS-CASA air force assembly.
All in all, Seville offers the perfect combination between a great quality of life and a business environment.
While Seville is a place to invest in and to work in, above all, it´s a place to live in.
