About the city:

Munich, the home-town of EUROAVIA München e.V. is located in the very south of Germany close to the Alps. It is famous for its traditional beer culture boasting of a big number of beer-halls and beer gardens which make Munich-summers a special experience crowned by the world famous Oktoberfest in September. At the same time relaxed urban life here and its unique atmosphere are the reasons for it being referred to as "Italy's most northern city".

With lots of other places of interest within the city and beyond, Munich is acknowledged as one of the most attractive places in Germany. Concerning Euroavia's fields of activity, Munich is not only the home of two international acting aviation companies (Airbus Group and MTU Aero Engines) but has also a modern international airport which is one of the biggest and fastest growing airports in Europe.
