About the city:

Lisboa is a city of great diversity. From the big African community, to the expanding Asian neighborhoods, every inhabitant contributes to a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, rich in culture and history. Several wine and food festivals are hosted in the city, usually in venues near the river Tagus. They are magnificent displays of some of the best things the country has to offer.

Aerospace industry wise Portugal is a country of small clusters, specialized in software and maintenance (Critical Software and TAP Maintenance & Engineering). In the near future projects of design and final assembly are to be carried out. Catering to the needs of the companies mentioned and of future employers, one aerospace degree is based in the city.

On the whole, Lisboa is a city capable of making a weekend hop worthwhile, not only because it charms the most skeptic tourist, but also because it surprises the more demanding traveler.
